Therapy Offers
I am glad to advise you individually on what therapy is the quickest way to alleviate your complaints. Thanks to my many years of further professional training and over 12 years of professional experience, I can help you quickly and effectively. Physiotherapy (Krankengymnastik)
To design a treatment specifically with your needs in mind, your current motion behaviour is analysed. With targeted mobilisation and soft-tissue techniques as well as strength and stretching exercises, your body’s focus and balance can be restored. The range of physiotherapy options covers the treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions, acute and chronic diseases, right through to motion disorders and dysfunctions of internal organs. The starting point for physiotherapy is motion behaviour. The goals are to achieve freedom from pain for the patient and to correct unhealthy motion patterns. For irreversible dysfunctions, the aim is to find ways of compensating for them. Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is a holistic method of treating disorders throughout the whole body – but also musculoskeletal dysfunctions and those affecting the nervous system. In manual therapy you are treated with soft, mobilising techniques and trained in the sequence of active exercises so as to stimulate your independent mobility and promote your physical stabilisation. To qualify for this technique, a physiotherapist has to undergo an additional course of training lasting two years. Triggerpoint Treatment
The purpose of trigger point treatment is the elimination of what are referred to as “myofascial trigger points“ – locally defined hardenings in the skeletal muscles that are locally sensitive to pressure and that can transmit or spread pain. Roughly 80 to 90% of pain syndromes can be attributed to these muscles. Kinesio Taping
Thanks to a special, anatomical positioning technique, this elastic, self-adhesive tape makes it possible to treat pain and restrictions in movement immediately. It has a broad range of different applications, both for diseases and for prevention. Depending on the positioning technique, the tape can be used for toning (tightening) or detoning (relaxing) effects. Manual lymphatic drainage
With this special massage technique, blockages in the tissue system are removed and transported into the body’s circulation through the lymphatic and venous system. This gentle form of therapy supports return lymphatic circulation. The goal of this massage is to removal of swelling and accretions, decongestion of the body Region affected, freedom from pain and formation of new lymphatic vessels at the points of interruption. At the same time this also helps improve the body’s pumping function. Field of application for manual lymphatic drainage: - after injuries and bone fractures - after lymphadenectomy (lymph node dissection), chemotherapy - after lymphangiopathy (swollen lymph nodes) - after neurological diseases - for temporary venostasis issues, e.g. caused by pregnancy or long flights - for cosmetic reduction of lacrimal sacs (bags under the eyes) - for stress reduction and relaxation Dorn treatment
The Dorn method is a therapy for correcting leg lengthening in the ankle, knee joint and hip joint in cases of uneven leg length. It can also be used as a way of gently healing pelvic torsion and blockages of the sacrum. That also means it can also be used to correct displaced (blocked) vertebrae and scoliosis. The extremities are positioned according to the articulation principle and the spinal cord gently straightened with a pendular movement of the arms or legs. In this context a patient’s rehabilitation programme is developed. Massage
Massage is one of the oldest healing arts. It is the traditional way of relieving tension that not only makes your muscles soft and supple again in addition to stimulating your metabolism, but also just makes you feel good all over. Experience harmony of body and mind with a relaxing massage. Pelvic Floor Excersis (Individual Therapy)
A healthy, functioning pelvic floor is an important basis for a healthy posture. A non-functioning pelvic floor increases the risk of developing urinary or faecal incontinence. This in turn can result in orthopaedic complaints, such as back or knee pain. Through individual training of your body’s core, your quality of life can be improved. Personal Training
Individual training programme lasting 10 weeks. You get a training plan adapted to your specific needs, together with a weekly check-up. In addition a 1-hour training session per week as well as a 30 min. treatment appointment. This is rounded off with nutritional advice by a qualified dietician. |
